In these terms andconditions, references to “we” and “us” refer to We Fix Bedford and itsassociated companies.By using services providedby We Fix Bedford you are entering into a contract with us. The terms below setout our obligations to you and what you are agreeing to.Please note that theheadings are purely put in place to help make reading the terms easier and in no way, separates the terms.
IMPORTANT:You are responsible for ensuring that you have backed up all data on your device. We will not be responsible for any loss ofdata, pictures, information or programs on your computer.For some jobs, we may need to re-install your operating system. This involves formatting your hard drive and re-installing theoperating system. We will contact you prior to doing this but if you requireyour data to be backed up prior to the wipe and restored back to your computeronce the operating system has been re-installed please let us know. There willbe additional charges associated with this service.We have a zero-tolerance policy for pirated content, this means that we have theright to return any device in any state, without a refund if pirated content is found.You understand we will be unaware of any other potentialproblems that could arise as a result of the initial damage or by opening /disturbing the internal boards and internal cables during dismantle /repair. This may result in additionalcharges to cover the costs of parts required to complete the repair. We willendeavour to make you aware of this at the time of repair / diagnosis.Any device that is found to have any signs of liquid damageinternally will be exempt from any warranties offered. We may still be able to do the repair but dueto the nature of liquid damage/corrosion we will not offer any warrant. We will stop working on your device andinform you as soon as we see any signs of internal liquid damage. Only after speaking with you will we continuewith the repair.By booking in your device we will assume that you are therightful owner of the device and you are authorising us to accept softwareend-user licence agreements on your behalf as necessary to complete the repair.If we replace any hardware you reserve the right to keep theold part unless otherwise stated.Before we will return the device to you, you must pay the remaining balance unless otherwise stated. If you decline the repair you will still be liable for the diagnosis fee.
Although in-van repair is designed specifically for fastscreen replacements we will endeavour to fix other repairs in-van however wemight have to take the device back to our repair centre to fully repair the device.If you then decline the repair, you will not be entitled to a refund.For in-van repair you will have to pay the initial call-out fee before the appointment, this is to purely to reserve an appointment foryour device repair. Appointments will be within 5 working days.We may refer to 1-hour repairs/come to you within the hour,this is subject to availability and maybe delayed due to matters beyond ourcontrol. We will make every attempt to contact you if a delay does occur.
Although we’ll aim to get your device repaired / diagnosedas quickly as possible, the service can sometimes take longer thananticipated. We normally aim to diagnoseand repair within 3-5 business days but sometimes the repair can takelonger. We often have to source partsfrom outside of the UK and can take several weeks before we receive the parts. We will not be held responsible for anyrepairs that exceed our estimated completion time. We will make every effort to inform you if weexpect a delay in our service. If youwould like a status update please contact us.Repair warranty is for 90 days unless otherwise stated. Pleasenote this only covers faults from us or the manufactures and only in regardswith the repair we have carried out
All Devices that has been left for over 70 days will bedisposed if prior arrangements have not been made. It is important that you check your contact detailson your order form at the time of booking to ensure that we have your correctcontact details. We will not be heldresponsible for any inaccuracies in the details provided.
Purchasing a product
Products can be paid via cash, card. To pay though othermethods please contact us in advanced. All card payments are taken thought apayment gateway hence we do not have access to your card details hence we donot record them on our servers.
Although we will aim to deliver your product on schedule, weuse various couriers to deliver the product on our behalf, therefore we cannotbe held responsible for any delays which are beyond our control.
If a fault occurs within 30 days of receipt, we will offeryou a full refund. After 30 days refundwill be at our discretion. Please returnthe product back to a store with your original receipt of purchase and originalpackaging.If you no longer want the product or your product has beenreturned as “faulty” but no fault has been found you are not liable for arefund.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to return your order upto 14 days from the day you receive your goods. If you have changed your mind we will only accept the item for refund ifthe item is unopened, in its original condition and packaging with a receipt ofpurchase. You are responsible for the return delivery costs.
Made to order items such as Custom PCs and laptops areexempt and you will not be refunded if you change your mind.Software/digital downloads are also non-refundable.Advice about your legal rights is available from your localCitizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
You agree to the recurring payment of the amount specifiedof the chosen membership each moth on the date of registration.If the payment is unsuccessful your account will besuspended until all previous debts are paid in full.If the payment is unsuccessful your account will besuspended until all previous debts are paid in full.
To cancel your subscription, you will have to contact us toterminate your account. Please note you must cancel your subscription 7 daysbefore the next payment is due otherwise you will still be liable to pay thefollowing month.If you cancel your subscription while your device is in theprocess of being repaired you will be liable to pay any amount which wasdiscounted due to the membership you held.
This subscription allows all devices which you personallyown, if you book in a device which is not your own and attempt to use themembership you will be in violation.
Discounts are limited to repairs we which carry out, if an external service is required the discounts will not be valid.
You will be given a free service which may include, malware removal, speedup or health check of hardware
You will be given a range of collection date/times to choosefrom and once a date/time is selected an engineer will come to you and collectyour device.
If we believe you are in violation of our terms we hold theright to suspend your account and charge you the costs that occurred.
